Herdsmen Terrorism: Adani People Fled Their Homes For Fulani Herdsmen

Residents and indigenes of the recently attacked Adani in Uzo-Uwani LGA of Enugu state  had fled  their homes in
fear of Fulani Herdsmen attack. Family Writers learnt this when "sos" call was made through Ifeanyi Chijioke to tell the world and create alarm for the purpose of alerting people for help.  “I have relocated my wife and children to Asaba, we can no longer stay here, these people are in power, Buhari is their motivation and government is doing
nothing" a father who described himself as Mr Chizoba said.

There have been increased report of kidnapping by Fulani Herdsmen in Adani and government has not done anything about it. “They kidnap our women, they rape some and free them and kill some, there was no opportunity to speak to the press on what we have been passing through, thank God I am talking to you today" an aged man said in a telephone chat with Ifeanyi Chijioke of Family. Report has it that the Herdsmen now block lonely roads and kidnap travelers and most times their host communities.

They afterwards demand ransom in the region of 1.5 million Naira. This has continued unchecked and with the latest onslaught carried out on the people of Nimbo, fear horizon has risen and now people flee the community. The "sos" call was made to enable for proactive measures, the government of Nigeria seems to be lost as to how to contain this terrorist group. It was discouraging that after the massacre in Nimbo community in the same LGA, Enugu state governor instead of assuring that the perpetrators will be brought to justice, only declared two days fasting and prayer and this is a significant sign of defeat. Now Adani is the next target, what should we do and where do we run to?
