      About four Teenage girls who were
tricked into prostitution in a notorious Calabar
brothel, Vegas Flex, over the weekend recounted
their experiences to Vanguard how they each
sleep with over twenty men every day and the
lady who brought them into the trade collects
the money leaving them with N500.00 as feeding
money.
The girls, Felicia Nzuworgar, 17, Patience
Williams, 18, Angela Benjamin, 17 and Charity
Nkwogor all from Okun Local Government Area
of Benue state said Abigail Aliyu whom they call
“Chair Lady” took them from their homes in
Benue State in January this year on the pretex
that she was taking them to Lagos where she
has a drinking spot to work as sales girls but
ended up as sex workers in a Calabar brothel
located at 26 Bedwell Street..

Death has knock away a popular native doctor through suspected cultists, Chief
Onupka Nwite was weekend reportedly
murdered by suspected cultists in his shrine
in Ndulo Ukwuagba Ngbo, Ohaukwu local
government area of Ebonyi state.
Nwite was killed at about 8:00pm Friday, in
front of his shrine, as the suspects took to

Tragedy: Ten Burnt to Death in a Lagos Ghastly Accident

At least, 10 passengers were burnt to death
in a ghastly motor accident in Badagry area
of Lagos last night.
Two vehicles, a commercial bus conveying
passengers and another vehicle were said to
have collided as the commercial bus burst
into flame and consume its occupants. The
tragedy took place around 11.00 pm last
night.
Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Mr. Rasak
Fadipe told source  that the gahastly motor
accident resulted into flame in Badagry with
fatalities recorded.
He said there was head-on collision between
two vehicles, leading to the commercial bus
with passengers bursting into flame. He did
not tell the make of the other vehicles.
When pressed to disclose the number of
people burnt to death, Fadipe said he could
not ascertain that now.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO,
Dolapo Badmus confirmed that 10 people
were burnt to death in the accident while
seven others sustained serious burns and
had been rushed to the Badagry General
Hospital for treatment.
A top officer of the Lagos State Emergency
Management Agency (LASEMA), who craved
anonymity said the agency was not at the
scene because it was at Seme Border, which
he said was outside Nigeria.
The source said he got a call from
somebody at the scene saying that 10
people were burnt to death, but said it was
unconfirmed.

We Didn't Stomp on a 20-Month-Old Baby - Army

THE 4th Brigade of the Nigerian
Army, Benin-City, Tuesday, dismissed as
false, reports that soldiers attached to the
brigade stomped on a 20-month-old baby at
Eku, Delta State during attempts to arrest
the baby’s father.
The baby, David Atori, was said to have died
on March 6, after he was alleged to have
been stomped upon by a team of security
operatives while attempting to arrest his
father, Mr. Collins Atori for allegedly burning
down an excavator belonging to Presco Oil
Plc.

Public Relations Officer, Eromosele J.
Unuakhalu stated that investigation into the
matter has since being carried out, adding
that nothing of such happened in the area.
Describing the allegation by the mother of
the baby, Mrs. Maureen Atori, as a cheap
blackmail, the brigade's image commander
said: "To the best of my knowledge, nothing
like that happened.
"From what I have gathered on ground, there
is nothing like soldiers from our brigade
stomping on a 20-month-old baby to death
as was reported."
In a swift reaction while countering the
claims of the army, the member
representing Ethiope East in the Delta State
House of Assembly, Hon. Evance Ivwurie
described the brigade's PRO as "a very
wicked army officer who is not speaking the
truth."
Denying attempts to blackmail the army,
Hon. Ivwurie said: "We have the utmost
respect for the Nigerian Army and Mr.
Unuakhalu should know that nobody is trying
to blackmail the army.
"This is because they (army) are adorned in
the Nigerian uniform with the sole duty to
protect the territorial integrity of the federal
republic of Nigeria."
Meanwhile findings have revealed that the
remains of the late baby David Atori has
since been deposited at the morgue of the
Eku Baptist Government Hospital by police
officers from the Eku police post pending
further investigation by the police.

SAD NEWS: Dangote Truck Driver Crushes Own Conductor to Pieces

Tragedy struck on the Lekki-Epe
Expressway after the driver of a
truck belonging to the Dangote
Cement, identified as Ajani Yekini,
crushed his own conductor, Mojeed
Jubril, to death.
Source learnt that Jubril had
slept under the truck before Yekini
mounted the steering and drove off.
He was said to have climbed on his
head, killing Jubril on the spot.
Policemen from the Elemoro
division were said to have arrived
to remove the corpse at the Frajend
Coy end of the Lekki-Epe
Expressway, where the incident
happened.
A senior official of the Federal Road
Safety Corps, Azubuike Onyemeh,
said the conductor was killed
around 10.30am.
He said, “The truck was left
overnight at the spot by the driver.
The conductor decided to sleep
under it. By Wednesday morning,
the driver, who was not aware that
the man was sleeping there, just
drove off. It was the cry of the man
that caught his attention, but by
then, it was too late, as the vehicle
had run over him.”
The police spokesperson, SP Dolapo
Badmos, said policemen from the
Elemoro division deposited the
corpse in a morgue for autopsy,
adding that the driver had been
arrested.
She said, “At about 10.30am, a
truck, driven by Yekini of Dangote
Cement, Ibeshe, ran over his
conductor, Jubril, aged 24. The
victim died on the spot. The corpse
has been deposited at the Mainland
General Hospital morgue, Yaba, for
autopsy.”
In a related development, a yet-to-
be identified woman has been
killed by a driver at the Afari Ogun
end of the International Airport
Road, Oshodi.
It was gathered that the victim was
walking beside the road when the
driver, identified as Oluwole
Ogunbona, hit her.
She was reportedly rushed to the
Lagos University Teaching Hospital,
Idi Araba, where she was
confirmed dead.
The police spokesperson, Badmos,
confirmed the incident, adding that
investigations were ongoing.
She said, “The incident happened
around 7.30pm on Wednesday. The
driver knocked down the female
pedestrian, and she was rushed to
LUTH where she later died. We are
investigating the case.”

Prophecy of Doom: Leave Ghana Alone,Stop Nigeria Boko Haram if You Are a True Man of God - Ghana Pastor to TB Joshua

General Overseer of the Church of Rabbi is
urging Nigerian prophet, TB Joshua to stop the
activities of Islamist group, Boko Haram in
Nigeria if he wants his prophecies to be taken
seriously.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah said he is baffled at
how the supposed prophet did nothing and now
the Boko Haram insurgents have infiltrated and
carried out several bombings in Nigeria.
In his view, TB Joshua who is the head of the
Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)
should concentrating on driving away Boko
Haram from Nigeria and “leave Ghana alone”.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah’s comment is in
reaction to TB Joshua’s prophecy of an eminent
attack on Ghana and Nigeria.
Last Sunday, the renowned prophet asked his
congregation to pray against the attack which
could happen either on Thursday, Friday or
Saturday.
The Nigerian Prophet was emphatic in
prophesying that, “I see Thursday, Friday. Pray
for these two nations – Nigeria and Ghana –
over gathering in any way; over an attack. I am
seeing the attack and that will be in a foreign
way. The attack will come not in a local way. So
please open your lips and pray for these two
nations for protection.”
But his prophecy has been met with a lot of
criticisms with many religious bodies including
the Christian Council calling on security agencies
to ignore it since Ghana cannot run on “the back
of prophecies.”
In support, the outspoken Kwabena Tawiah
stressed that the prophecy must be treated with
the contempt it deserves.
Describing TB Joshua’s prophecy as
unnecessary, the Church of Rabbi leader said
assuming without admitting that the prophecy is
true, God would have revealed it to a Ghanaian
prophet and not a foreigner.
“What is TB Joshua saying; he should leave
Ghana alone and concentrate on Boko Haram in
Nigeria” he fumed.
Rather, Kwabena Tawiah called on TB Joshua to
support President Buhari with his prophecies to
help arrest the Boko Haram insurgents terrorizing
citizens in Nigeria.
