Only During The Biafran War We Experienced a Famine Like That of Today

A catholic priest has expressed sadness over the rapid increase in the prize of foodstuffs like Rice,Beans, even Tomatoes, thereby bringing the citizens to a sticky wicket over purchase of foodstuffs.
Rev. Fr Dr Collins Ojene,The founder of Madonna Mercy Family International and an official of Federal Polytechnic Okoh,an Onitsha Archdiocesan catholic priest has lamented the recent increase in the prize of foodstuffs, saying he experienced this kind if hunger when the Nigerian government issued land, sea and air blockades on the Biafrans, making them suffer severe hunger when there was nothing left to eat.
In his words "The increase in the prize of foodstuffs is a sad experience as we only experienced a famine of this kind during the Biafran war, when we were still children. The war dried us of everything and about 40% of the War Victims died of hunger. People deserted their villages and went into the forests for hiding just tell me what they would eat there than dying in hunger."
He went forward to inveigh against Christians of nowadays ,alleging they have forgotten God for earthly pleasure. Asking Why God will not also forget the people and purposefully let them suffer  bit.

known for, spoke on Saturday to members of an

Lord will make me each day become poorer," he

Federal Ministry of Education has announced
that in order to reduce the workload of primary

Prophecy of Doom: Leave Ghana Alone,Stop Nigeria Boko Haram if You Are a True Man of God - Ghana Pastor to TB Joshua

General Overseer of the Church of Rabbi is
urging Nigerian prophet, TB Joshua to stop the
activities of Islamist group, Boko Haram in
Nigeria if he wants his prophecies to be taken
seriously.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah said he is baffled at
how the supposed prophet did nothing and now
the Boko Haram insurgents have infiltrated and
carried out several bombings in Nigeria.
In his view, TB Joshua who is the head of the
Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)
should concentrating on driving away Boko
Haram from Nigeria and “leave Ghana alone”.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah’s comment is in
reaction to TB Joshua’s prophecy of an eminent
attack on Ghana and Nigeria.
Last Sunday, the renowned prophet asked his
congregation to pray against the attack which
could happen either on Thursday, Friday or
Saturday.
The Nigerian Prophet was emphatic in
prophesying that, “I see Thursday, Friday. Pray
for these two nations – Nigeria and Ghana –
over gathering in any way; over an attack. I am
seeing the attack and that will be in a foreign
way. The attack will come not in a local way. So
please open your lips and pray for these two
nations for protection.”
But his prophecy has been met with a lot of
criticisms with many religious bodies including
the Christian Council calling on security agencies
to ignore it since Ghana cannot run on “the back
of prophecies.”
In support, the outspoken Kwabena Tawiah
stressed that the prophecy must be treated with
the contempt it deserves.
Describing TB Joshua’s prophecy as
unnecessary, the Church of Rabbi leader said
assuming without admitting that the prophecy is
true, God would have revealed it to a Ghanaian
prophet and not a foreigner.
“What is TB Joshua saying; he should leave
Ghana alone and concentrate on Boko Haram in
Nigeria” he fumed.
Rather, Kwabena Tawiah called on TB Joshua to
support President Buhari with his prophecies to
help arrest the Boko Haram insurgents terrorizing
citizens in Nigeria.

Nigeria is not worth dying for -pastor Akimolowo

Nigeria is NOT Worth dying for -pastor Akimolowo
Pastor Akimolowo has blast Nigeria with a bitchy remark. This was prodded by his flashback to the untimely death of his father during the controversial Biafran war,and the failure of the Nigerian gov't to inform his family.
Matthew Ashimolowo, the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) has criticised Nigerian leaders over comments to prolong their tenure in office, Daily Post reports.
Ashimolowo who stated that his father died in active service as a Nigerian soldier added that Nigeria was not worth dying for as a country.
He said: “My father was killed at the Asaba/Onitsha bridge during the Nigeria/Biafra civil war in 1967 and the Nigerian military did not have the decency to inform my family.
“His death was treated with levity; even to get his entitlement from the military, my brother had to bribe his way through. Is this the kind of country you would want to die for?”
The cleric who described Nigeria as “a five-talent nation being perpetually led by one-talent leaders” however regretted the fact that willing Nigerians who have good plans to develop the country were regularly frustrated by some privileged few.

“Nigeria’s problem is because culture influences how we choose leaders. Culture puts age before ability to choose leaders. This as not only wrong, but also outdated. Weak leadership is the single reason why Africa as a continent seems to be trapped.
“Europe would not survive if it was not for Africa. Most of the things they need to survive are in Africa.
“A good leader does not need a four year term to make a difference. You can do that in a year,” he added.
Meanwhile, Pastor William Kumuyi, the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry said on judgment day, hell will be hotter for members of the church who are sinners.
This, according to Kumuyi is because the Deeper Life sinners have heard enough of the word of God but still refused to repent from their bad ways.this is pretty reasonable to reasoners.
