       There had been a fire incident razing down a building in the late night of yesterday,15th May 2016,while neighbours sleep.The fire incident took place in Onitsha,along Ziks Avenue in Fegge-Onitsha,opposite to Immaculate Heart Of Mary Catholic Parish.
 
     According to an eye witness,The fire was said to had broken out from a Mechanical Workshop Located at the fore front of the same
building, when PHCN suddenly restored electric current around 1:am  in the middle of the night.
   His words "You know i reside near this place,I was sleeping in the night when suddenly I heard queer screaming from people and the destructive rumbling sound of fire blazing somewhere. I woke up,scoot outside to see people pouring detergent mixed water in attempt to quench the fire,but their attempts seemed to be futile as the fire ever seem determined to raze down the building to the floor. We were still there when a group of Fire Service Squard arrived the scene of the incident and helped us scotch the fire".
 
   When asked what could be the cause of the outbreak,he said "Welders know they use machines of high capacitance,yet they would always indulge in Illegal Connections so as to save money from NEPA.If he correctly connected his wires,the sorrowful incident would have never taken place,now tell me how he could pay back the Landlord for his only house

   A man who owns a Nissan Starlet slightly affected was also present counting on what to do with the Mechanic,saying his car has been with the mechanic for two years now.

    A tree standing in the scene of the incident got scorched seriously and a Branch of the tree has reportedly disjoint and neighbours currently live in fear of the tree falling and destroying their properties.
