USSR Begins Withdrawal of 115,000 Troops From Afghanistan

     

        On the 15th day of May in the year 1988,USSR started withdrawing its 115,000 Troops from Afghanistan
      Representatives of the USSR,Afghanistan, USA
and Pakistan sign an agreement calling for the withdrawal of sovient forces from Afghanistan in an exchange for an end to the disputed Soviet occupation. The United States agreed to end its arms supply to the Afghan Anti-soviet Factions. Afghanistan and Pakistan agreed not to interfere in each other's affaires.
